Chineneye is the Founding Partner of The Firma Advisory.
She began her legal career in the law firm of Afe Babalola & Co., where she gained relevant experience in corporate and commercial law and disputes. She represents clients locally and internationally on multi-party transactional matters ranging from corporate structuring and re-structuring, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory compliance with a focus on energy, banking and finance and corporate law.
In recognition of the Firm’s notable contributions to national development, she received the Social Impact Award in 2018 from the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, for the Firm’s pro-bono Access to Justice Initiative that offers legal aid services, educates people about their rights, and advocates for policy changes. This initiative has played a significant role in addressing systemic issues that have prevented people from accessing justice. It has also helped individuals navigate the legal system and solve their problems. Overall, this initiative has contributed to greater fairness and equity in the justice system, benefiting individuals and the community,
Chinenye attended Harvard Kennedy School in 2019 where she obtained a degree in Public Policy and obtained her LLB from the University of Essex, United Kingdom in 2012.
